DTN COMMENTS: Cash cattle country is very slow to start this morning
with bids and asking prices not established as of yet. Significant trade
volume will likely be delayed until later in the week. Beef cutouts are
expected to be higher with light to moderate box movement.

Day two of the possible two-week JBS strike in Greeley, CO continues.
This is the first strike of a U.S. beef slaughterhouse in four decades.
Union workers say that JBS has retaliated against employees, committed
unfair labor practices, and offered wage increases of less than 2%
annually, which is below Colorado's inflation rate.

NOTE: Feedlots are encouraged to call DTN with any cattle sales, at
1-402-461-3561. All sales will be listed anonymously and organized by
state. All live sales are FOB and set for 1-9-day delivery. A weekly
summary from this data will be posted on the Weekly Cattle Sales Reported
to DTN page and will be left up for the entire week for reference
purposes.
